    From the main square in Civita, Piazza Vittorio Veneto, head south along Via San Giovanni. As you walk, you will pass by various local shops and cafes. Continue straight until you reach a fork in the road. Take the right path which leads you down a slight incline. You will notice signs pointing towards Piazza San Pietro Caveoso. Follow these signs and continue walking straight until you reach a set of steps that descend further into the Sassi area. At the bottom of the steps, you will see Piazza San Pietro Caveoso directly ahead.
