From Piazza del Campo, head north towards the Duomo; Via di Città is the natural continuation of Il Campo. The street begins near the Costarella dei Barbieri and gently slopes uphill. As the historic center is a ZTL (limited traffic zone) walking is often the easiest way to reach the street.

    If arriving by bus from outside the city center, the closest bus stops are located around Piazza Gramsci, the city's main bus terminal. From there, walk towards Piazza del Campo and then continue onto Via di Città. Alternatively, take one of the Pollicino mini-buses that navigate the historic center. A single bus ticket costs €1.50.

    Taxis can drop passengers off at Piazza Indipendenza or Piazza del Mercato, which are the closest accessible points to Piazza del Campo and Via di Città.
