Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Piazza del Campo, head northwest toward Via di Città. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Via S. Pietro. Turn left onto Via S. Pietro. Follow this road until you reach the junction with Via delle Terme. Turn right and continue straight until you reach the end of the street. Here, you will find a bus station. Take bus number 130 towards San Gimignano, which will take you directly to the town. Once you arrive at San Gimignano, walk towards Piazza della Cisterna and continue straight until you see Via S. Matteo.

  • Public Transport

    Start at the main bus terminal in Siena, located at Piazza Gramsci. Look for the bus services that head towards San Gimignano; the bus company is usually 'Tiemme'. Purchase a ticket from the kiosk or vending machine available at the terminal. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride which lasts approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at San Gimignano, get off at the main bus stop and follow signs towards the historic center. Walk towards Piazza della Cisterna, and from there, proceed to Via S. Matteo.
