If you are starting from the Taormina Cable Car Station, exit the station and head south towards Via Luigi Pirandello. Turn left onto Via Luigi Pirandello and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Umberto. Turn right onto Corso Umberto, which is the main street of Taormina. Continue walking along Corso Umberto, passing by various shops and cafes. After a short walk, you will arrive at Piazza IX Aprile, a beautiful viewpoint. From Piazza IX Aprile, continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via B. Croce. Turn left onto Via B. Croce and proceed until you reach Piazza XX Settembre. You will find the square on your right.

If you are starting from the Ancient Theatre of Taormina, exit the theatre and head southwest on Via del Teatro Greco. Continue straight until you reach Via Luigi Pirandello. Turn left onto Via Luigi Pirandello and continue until you reach Corso Umberto. Turn right onto Corso Umberto and walk straight, enjoying the local shops. After a short distance, you will arrive at Piazza IX Aprile. From there, follow the same directions as above: continue straight to Via B. Croce, turn left and walk to Piazza XX Settembre, which will be on your right.

If you are near the Porta Messina (the main entrance to Taormina), exit through the gate and walk straight onto Corso Umberto. Continue walking along Corso Umberto, passing by shops, restaurants, and the beautiful architecture of Taormina. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Piazza IX Aprile. From there, follow the same directions as previously mentioned: continue straight to Via B. Croce, turn left and walk until you reach Piazza XX Settembre on your right.
