Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Rialto Bridge, head east along the Calle dei Fabbri. Continue straight until you reach the Campo San Bartolomeo. From there, turn left onto the Calle della Bissa, then take another left onto the Fondamenta de le Colonete. Walk along this canal-side path until you reach Chiesa di Santa Maria Maddalena at number 2205.

• Walking

  From St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco), exit through the south side towards the waterfront. Follow the Riva degli Schiavoni until you see the Ponte dei Sospiri (Bridge of Sighs). Cross the bridge and continue straight. At the first intersection, turn right, which will take you to the Fondamenta de le Colonete. Continue until you reach the church at 2205.

• Vaporetto (Water Bus)

  Take Vaporetto Line 1 from any stop along the Grand Canal. Get off at the San Stae stop. After disembarking, walk straight ahead and turn left onto the Fondamenta de le Colonete. Continue walking along the canal for approximately 10 minutes until you reach Chiesa di Santa Maria Maddalena located at 2205.

• Walking

  If you are at the Santa Lucia Train Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the Grand Canal. Take the first left onto the Calle della Libertà, continue until you hit the canal. Turn left again and follow the waterway until you reach the Ponte della Costituzione (Calatrava Bridge). Cross the bridge and head straight. Keep right at the fork, and then follow the Fondamenta de le Colonete until you reach the church at 2205.
