If you are starting from Hakata Station, exit the station and head towards the East Exit. Once outside, turn right and walk along the main road, Hakata-dori. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Sumiyoshi Street. Turn left on Sumiyoshi Street and walk straight for approximately 5 minutes. You will find the Lantern Marker at 1 Chome-4-8 Sumiyoshi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka.

From Tenjin Station, take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) towards Fukuoka Airport. Get off at Hakata Station (the third stop). Upon exiting the station, follow the East Exit signs. Once outside, turn right and walk along the main road, Hakata-dori. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Sumiyoshi Street. Turn left on Sumiyoshi Street and walk straight for approximately 5 minutes. The Lantern Marker will be on your right at 1 Chome-4-8 Sumiyoshi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka.
