Subway
If you are starting from Hakata Station, take the Kuko Line (Airport Line) towards Nakasu-Kawabata. It is just one stop. Get off at Nakasu-Kawabata Station and take Exit 1. Once you exit, walk straight for about 10 minutes along the river. You will see Canal City Hakata on your left.

Bus
From Tenjin Station, you can take the Nishitetsu Bus #100 or #200, which heads directly to Canal City Hakata. The bus stop is located on the west side of Tenjin Station. The ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Canal City Hakata' stop, and you will see the mall right in front of you.

Walking
If you are close to the Nakasu area, you can walk to Canal City Hakata. Head towards the Nakasu River and walk along the riverbank. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection at Sumiyoshi Bridge. Cross the bridge, and Canal City Hakata will be just ahead on your left.

If you're at a hotel or another location in Fukuoka, you can easily take a taxi to Canal City Hakata. Just tell the driver 'Canal City Hakata' or show them the address: 1 Chome-2 Sumiyoshi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka, 812-0018. The ride from most central locations should take no more than 10-15 minutes.
