Car
If you're driving from Hakone, take Route 1 (Tokaido Highway) heading towards Atami. After approximately 10 minutes, take the exit for Hata-juku. Follow the signs for Hata-juku and after about 5 minutes, you'll arrive at 172 Hatajuku where the Tokaido Road Distance Marker is located. There is limited parking available nearby.

Public Transportation
Start at Hakone-Yumoto Station. Board the Hakone Tozan Bus (bound for Hatajuku). The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the Hatajuku stop. From there, walk approximately 5 minutes to the Hata-juku Ichirizuka (Tokaido Road Distance Marker) located at 172 Hatajuku. Note that the bus fare from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Hatajuku is around ¥500.
