Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the Hakone area and head to Route 1 (Tōmei Expressway). Follow the signs for Odawara and exit at Odawara North Interchange. Merge onto Route 1 and continue towards Kamakura. After approximately 30 minutes, you should see signs for Maruyama Inari Shrine as you approach Kamakura. Turn onto 2 Chome-1 Yukinoshita, where the shrine is located. Parking is limited, so look for nearby pay parking lots once you arrive.

Train and Walk
To reach Maruyama Inari Shrine using public transportation, take the Odakyu Line from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Odawara Station. From Odawara, transfer to the JR Tokaido Line and head towards Kamakura. Get off at Kamakura Station. Once at Kamakura Station, exit the station and head east towards Komachi Street. Walk about 15 minutes, following the signs to Maruyama Inari Shrine located at 2 Chome-1 Yukinoshita. Be prepared for a bit of uphill walking. This journey will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes in total.

Bus and Walk
Another option is to take a bus from Hakone. From Hakone-Yumoto Station, take the Hakone Tozan Bus towards Kamakura. The journey takes around 40 minutes. Get off at the Yukinoshita bus stop. From there, Maruyama Inari Shrine is a 10-minute walk. Just follow the local signage pointing towards the shrine.
