Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start from Hakone. Take Route 1 (the National Route 1) heading towards Odawara. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach Kamakura. From there, follow the signs to Route 134. Continue on Route 134 until you reach 2 Chome Nishimikado. The Shirahata Shrine is located at 2 Chome-1-24 Nishimikado. There is parking available nearby, but please be aware that parking fees may apply.

  • Public Transportation (Train)

    To reach Shirahata Shrine using public transportation, start at Hakone-Yumoto Station. Take the Odakyu Line towards Odawara and transfer at Odawara Station to the JR Tokaido Line. Ride the train towards Ofuna and get off at Kamakura Station. From Kamakura Station, transfer to the Enoshima Electric Railway (Enoden) and take the train towards Fujisawa. Get off at Hase Station. From Hase Station, it’s a 20-minute walk to Shirahata Shrine.
