If you're traveling by car, start from the Hakone area and take Route 1 towards Odawara. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach Kamakura. Follow the signs for 'Tsurugaoka Hachimangu' as you approach Kamakura. Upon entering the city, look for parking options near the shrine. Some nearby parking lots include the Kamakura City Parking and the Hachimangu Parking Lot. Parking fees typically range from 300 to 600 yen per hour.

Public Transportation
To reach Tsurugaokahachimanguimamiya via public transportation, take the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Odawara Station. From Odawara, transfer to the JR Tokaido Line towards Atami. Get off at Kamakura Station, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kamakura Station, exit the station and head towards the East Exit. From there, it’s about a 15-20 minute walk to Tsurugaokahachimangu. Follow the signs directing you to the shrine, or use a map app for precise directions. Note that there is no entrance fee to visit the shrine.
