Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Hakone, take the National Route 1 (also known as Odawara-Atsugi Road) heading southeast. Follow the signs towards Kamakura. After approximately 30 kilometers, exit onto Prefectural Route 21 towards Kamakura. Continue on this road until you reach Shichirigahama. You can park at nearby public parking lots, which may charge around 500 to 1000 yen per hour.

    From Hakone Yumoto Station, take the Hakone Tozan Railway to Odawara Station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. At Odawara Station, transfer to the JR Tokaido Line heading towards Atami. After about 20 minutes, get off at Kamakura Station. From Kamakura Station, take the Enoshima Electric Railway (Enoden) towards Fujisawa. Get off at Shichirigahama Station, which is a short walk from the beach. A one-way train ticket from Hakone Yumoto to Kamakura costs around 1,500 yen, and the Enoden ticket is about 210 yen.
