If you are driving from Hakone, head east on Route 1 (Tōmei Expressway) towards Kamakura. After about 30 km, take the exit for Kamakura and follow the signs for Kamakura Station. Once you reach Kamakura Station, look for parking options nearby, as parking is limited in the area. From the station, Gokuraku-ji is approximately a 10-minute drive away. From Hakone, take the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Odawara Station. At Odawara Station, transfer to the JR Tōkaidō Line and take a train towards Tokyo, getting off at Kamakura Station. From Kamakura Station, you can either take a taxi or walk to Gokuraku-ji, which is about a 20-minute walk. The temple's address is 3 Chome-6-7 Gokurakuji, Kamakura, Kanagawa 248-0023. Note that the train fare from Hakone to Kamakura is approximately 1,500 yen.

Take the Odakyu Hakone Highway Bus from Hakone to Kamakura. The bus ride takes about 50 minutes. Get off at the Kamakura Station stop. From Kamakura Station, it’s about a 20-minute walk to Gokuraku-ji, located at 3 Chome-6-7 Gokurakuji, Kamakura, Kanagawa 248-0023. The bus fare is around 1,200 yen.
