If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to Hakone. From the Hakone Area, take Route 1 towards Kamakura. Follow Route 1 until you reach the junction for National Route 134. Continue on National Route 134 until you reach Nikaidō. The Sugimoto Temple is located at 903 Nikaidō, Kamakura, Kanagawa 248-0002. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking may incur a fee depending on the lot. Make sure to check the parking signs for costs.

Train and Bus
For those using public transportation, start your journey at Hakone-Yumoto Station. From there, take the Odakyu Line train towards Odawara and transfer at Odawara Station to the JR Tōkaidō Line. Take the train towards Tokyo and get off at Kamakura Station. Once at Kamakura Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located right outside. Take the Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu bus number 23 towards 'Hase' and get off at Nikaidō stop. From the bus stop, it is a short walk to Sugimoto Temple located at 903 Nikaidō, Kamakura, Kanagawa 248-0002. Note that the bus fare from Kamakura Station to Nikaidō is approximately 200-300 yen.
