    If you are driving from Hakone, take Route 1 (National Route 1) towards Kamakura. Follow the signs for Kamakura, and after about a 30-minute drive, take the exit towards Kamakura Station. Continue on Route 204, and follow the signs to Hokokuji, which is located at 2 Chome-7-4 Jomyoji, Kamakura. There is parking available near the temple, but it can fill up quickly, so arrive early.     To reach Hokokuji Bamboo Forest via public transportation, start by taking the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Odawara Station.
