From Tokyo Station, take the JR Yokosuka Line towards Zushi. The train ride takes approximately 50 minutes. Get off at Kamakura Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and head towards the East Exit.

From Kamakura Station East Exit, look for the bus stop for the Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu bus. Take the bus labeled 'Kamakura Daibutsu' or 'Hase' which will take you closer to Kakuon-ji. The bus ride is about 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Nikaido'.

After getting off at the Nikaido bus stop, walk along the street towards the main road. Kakuon-ji is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs towards Kakuon-ji, and you will arrive at the temple located at 421 Nikaidō, Kamakura.
