Once you reach the Motohakone area, look for parking options near the Hakone Shrine. There are several parking lots available, but they may charge a fee (approximately ¥500-¥1000 for a few hours). After parking, walk towards the lake, and you will see The Third Torii of Hakone Shrine situated along the water's edge.

Public Transportation - Bus
For public transportation, take the Hakone Tozan Bus from Hakone-Yumoto Station or any major station in Hakone. Board the bus heading to 'Motohakone' or 'Hakone Shrine'. The bus ride should take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Motohakone bus stop, exit the bus and walk towards Lake Ashi. Follow the signs to Hakone Shrine, and you will soon find The Third Torii of Hakone Shrine located by the lake.

You can also take the Hakone Tozan Railway to Gora Station. From Gora Station, transfer to the Hakone Tozan Cable Car and ride to Sounzan Station. Next, take the Hakone Ropeway to Togendai Station. From there, board a boat on Lake Ashi to reach Motohakone. The boat ride offers stunning views and will take about 30 minutes. Disembark at Motohakone, and walk towards the Hakone Shrine to find The Third Torii of Hakone Shrine along the lakeside.
