Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, head towards Route 1 (National Route 1) if you are coming from the Hakone area. Follow the signs for Hakone and Motohakone. Once you reach Motohakone, look for the signs directing you to Hakone Shrine. The shrine is located at 80-1 Motohakone, Hakone, Ashigarashimo District. There is parking available nearby, but note that there may be a parking fee of approximately 500-1000 yen per day, depending on the lot.

  • Public Transportation (Bus)

    From Hakone Yumoto Station, take the Hakone Tozan Bus (Line 2) towards Motohakone. The bus ride takes around 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Hakone Jinja-mae' bus stop.
