Car
If you are driving from Hakone, start by heading south on Route 1. Follow the signs towards Kamakura. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit towards Kamakura and merge onto Route 134. Continue on Route 134 until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route 204. Follow this road for about 10 minutes until you see signs for Zeniarai Benten Shrine. Look for parking spaces nearby; parking may incur a small fee.

Train and Walk
Start your journey by taking the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone Yumoto Station to Odawara Station. This scenic ride will take about 15 minutes. At Odawara Station, transfer to the JR Tokaido Line towards Tokyo and get off at Kamakura Station (approximately 30 minutes ride). From Kamakura Station, exit the station and head towards the East Exit. Follow the main road until you reach the Zeniarai Benten Shrine. The walk will take around 20-25 minutes. Be mindful of signs pointing towards the shrine along the way.

Begin your trip by taking the Hakone Tozan Bus from Hakone to Kamakura. You may need to catch the bus from Hakone Yumoto Station, and the journey usually lasts about 40-50 minutes. Once you reach Kamakura, get off at the 'Zeniarai Benten Shrine' bus stop. The shrine is just a short walk from the bus stop, so follow the signs to reach your destination. Note that bus fares typically range from 500 to 1000 yen depending on the distance.
