If you are driving, start from the center of Harima. Head south on Route 2, taking the exit towards Kobe. Continue on Route 2 for approximately 20 kilometers. Once you reach Kobe, follow the signs for Chuo Ward. After entering Chuo Ward, navigate to 6 Chome-5 Kanocho. You can find parking options nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically ranging from 300 to 600 yen per hour.

Public Transportation
To reach the Birthplace of Marathon using public transport, start by taking the JR Kobe Line from Harima Station to Sannomiya Station. This journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Sannomiya Station, transfer to the subway and take the Kaigan Line towards Shinkaichi. Get off at the next stop, which is Kenchomae Station. From Kenchomae Station, it is a 10-minute walk to 6 Chome-5 Kanocho. Follow the signs to Chuo Ward, and you will find the memorial site easily. Note that a one-way ticket from Harima Station to Sannomiya Station costs approximately 500 yen.
