    If you are driving, start from the center of Hida and head east on Route 158. Follow the signs for Takayama City. After approximately 15 minutes, you will reach Takayama. Once in Takayama, turn onto Oshinmachi Street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer. You will see Kusakabe Traditional House on your right at 1 Chome−52 Oshinmachi. There is limited parking available nearby, so be sure to check for any parking fees.

    For those using public transportation, take the JR Takayama Line from Hida-Furukawa Station to Takayama Station. The train ride takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately 520 yen.
