If you are driving from central Hida, head south on Route 41 towards Gero. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit toward Route 256, following signs for Osakacho. Continue on Route 256 for about 15 minutes, then turn left onto the road leading to Nigori Falls. There is parking available near the falls, but it can get busy during peak tourist seasons. Be prepared for some steep and narrow roads as you approach the waterfall.

Start your journey at Hida-Furukawa Station. Take the JR Takayama Line to Gero Station, which takes about 30 minutes. Once at Gero Station, you can take a local bus heading towards Osakacho. Look for buses that have 'Osakacho' listed as a destination. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Disembark at the 'Nigori Falls' stop. From the bus stop, it's a short walk (about 10 minutes) to the falls. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may be limited.

For a more comfortable and direct route, consider taking a taxi from Gero Station to Nigori Falls. The taxi ride will take around 20 minutes and will cost approximately ¥3,000 to ¥4,000.
