If you're traveling by car, start from Hida City. Take Route 41 towards Gero City. After approximately 30 km, you will reach a junction near Gero. Follow the signs for Route 256 towards Osakacho. Continue on Route 256 for about 20 km until you see the signs for Nigorigo Hot Spring. Turn left onto the access road leading to the hot spring. There is parking available on-site which is usually free.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, begin your journey at Hida City Station. Take a train on the JR Takayama Line to Gero Station. This journey takes about 30 minutes. From Gero Station, transfer to a local bus bound for Nigorigo Onsen. The bus ride is approximately 40 minutes and may cost around 500 yen. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as the frequency may vary.
