If you are driving, start by heading towards the city of Hiroshima and get onto the Hiroshima Expressway (通称: 広島高速道路). Follow the signs for the Kabe IC exit. Once you exit, continue on Route 54 towards Naka Ward. After approximately 7 kilometers, look for signs directing you to Mt. Kifuku. Take a left turn onto a smaller road that leads you up the mountain towards Kokokyo Bridge. The bridge is situated at Mt. Kifuku, 2-11 Kaminoboricho, Naka Ward, Hiroshima. Parking may be available nearby, but make sure to check local signage for any restrictions.

Public Transportation
To reach Kokokyo Bridge via public transportation, start from Hiroshima Station. Take the JR Sanyo Line to Kabe Station, which takes about 15 minutes. From Kabe Station, transfer to a local bus that heads toward Mt. Kifuku. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Mt. Kifuku. From there, it is a short walk to the Kokokyo Bridge. Ensure you have the right change for the bus fare, which is typically around ¥300.
