Car
From Hiroshima countryside, take Route 2 towards Hiroshima city. Follow the signs for the Hiroshima city center. Once you reach the city, continue on Route 54 until you reach the intersection with Kamiyacho. Turn left onto Kamiyacho, and then take the first right onto Kamihonmachi. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of Shukkeien Garden at 2-11 Kaminoboricho, Naka Ward, Hiroshima. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

Public Transportation - Train
If you are near a JR station in Hiroshima countryside, take a train on the JR Sanyo Line towards Hiroshima Station. Once at Hiroshima Station, transfer to the Hiroshima Electric Railway (Hiroden) and take the streetcar line 1 or 2 towards Eba. Get off at the Kamiyacho-nishi stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to Shukkeien Garden. Head southeast on Kamiyacho Street, then turn left onto Kamihonmachi, and you will see the entrance to the garden.

Public Transportation - Bus
You can also take a bus from various locations in Hiroshima countryside to Hiroshima Station. Once at the station, transfer to the Hiroshima Electric Railway (Hiroden) and take the streetcar line 1 or 2 towards Eba. Get off at the Kamiyacho-nishi stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Shukkeien Garden. Walk southeast on Kamiyacho Street, then turn left onto Kamihonmachi, and you will arrive at the garden entrance.
