Getting There

  • Public Transport & Walking

    From the Miyajima ferry terminal, walk towards the main street (Omotesando). Continue straight until you reach the base of Mount Misen, approximately a 20-minute walk. Look for signs directing you to the Miyajima Ropeway station. A free shuttle bus is available from Momijidani Park to the ropeway station. Take the ropeway to Shishiiwa Station. The ropeway consists of two sections: the Momijidani Line and the Shishiiwa Line, with a transfer at Kayatani Station. From Shishiiwa Station, follow the signs to the observatory. Ropeway cost: ¥2,000 (adult round trip), ¥1,100 (adult one way). Children: ¥1,000 (round trip), ¥550 (one way). Ferry cost: ¥180. Train from Hiroshima Station to Miyajimaguchi Station: ¥410.
