Shukkei-en Garden is approximately a 15-minute walk from Hiroshima Station. Exit the station and walk north, following the main road. The garden will be on your left, adjacent to the Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum.

From Hiroshima Station, take tram line 1, 2, or 6 to Hatchobori, then transfer to tram line 9 and get off at Shukkeien-mae. The fare is 240 yen. From the Shukkeien-mae stop, it is a short 2-minute walk to the garden.

Take the Hiroshima Sightseeing Loop Bus (Meipuru-pu) from Hiroshima Station and get off at the Hiroshima Prefectural Museum of Art bus stop, which is next to the garden. The fare is 240 yen per ride, or 600 yen for a 1-day pass.

Taxis are readily available from Hiroshima Station. A short taxi ride to Shukkei-en Garden will cost approximately 820-1620 JPY, based on the initial fare of 620 JPY plus roughly 500 JPY per kilometer. Note that traffic conditions may affect the final fare.
