Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from Hiroshima Station. Exit the station and head towards the South Exit. When you reach the main road, turn left and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the Peace Memorial Park. Enter the park and walk towards the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, which will be on your left. After visiting the museum, continue walking through the park towards the A-bomb Dome, which is a short distance ahead. From the A-bomb Dome, head towards the river and cross the bridge to the opposite side. Once you cross, turn right, and follow the riverside path that will lead you to Nakajimacho. Continue walking along this path until you reach the intersection, then turn left. The A-bombed Phoenix Trees are located at 1-2 Nakajimacho, Naka Ward, just a short walk from the intersection.

  • Public Transport (Tram)

    From Hiroshima Station, exit the station and head to the tram stop located just outside the South Exit. Board tram number 2 (Hiroden) heading towards Eba. Stay on the tram for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park' stop. Exit the tram and walk towards the park, and follow the same route as mentioned above from the Peace Memorial Museum to the A-bomb Dome. After reaching the A-bomb Dome, cross the river and follow the riverside path to Nakajimacho, turning left at the intersection to arrive at the A-bombed Phoenix Trees at 1-2 Nakajimacho, Naka Ward.
