From Hiroshima Station, take the Hiroshima Electric Railway (Hiroden) tram line 2 (to Yokogawa) or line 6 (to Hiroshima Port). Get off at the 'Kakomachi' stop. The memorial is a short 5-minute walk south on Kakomachi Street. The tram fare is approximately ¥240.

From the Peace Memorial Park, walk east along Heiwa Odori Street, then turn right onto Kakomachi Street. Continue south for several blocks; the memorial will be on your left. The walk is approximately 15-20 minutes.

Taxis are readily available throughout Hiroshima. A taxi from Hiroshima Station to the memorial takes approximately 15 minutes and costs around ¥3120. From the Peace Memorial Park, a taxi ride is shorter and should cost approximately ¥1600-¥2000.
