Walking
If you are in the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, head east towards the Hiroshima National Peace Memorial Hall for the Atomic Bomb Victims. Continue along the path until you reach the main road (Naka River). Cross the river using the bridge (Shin-Ohashi) and turn left once you reach the other side. Walk along the riverbank until you see a sign for Shukkeien Garden. It's about a 15-minute walk from the Peace Memorial Park.
Tram
From Hiroshima Station, take the Hiroden Tram Line 1 (the tram towards 'Hiroshima Port'). Get off at the 'Kencho-mae' stop. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk. Exit the tram station and walk straight towards the large intersection. Cross the road, then turn left. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of Shukkeien Garden, which will be on your right.
Bus
If you are near the Hiroshima Bus Center, take the local bus number 24 towards 'Hiroshima Kokusai Gakuin Daigaku'. Get off at 'Shukkeien-mae' bus stop. The garden entrance is just a short walk from the bus stop. Head straight and you will see the entrance to Shukkeien Garden on your right.
