    If you're driving from central Hitachi, take the Joban Expressway (Route 6) towards Tokyo. Continue on the expressway for about 1.5 hours until you reach the Koto area in Tokyo. Take the exit toward Shin-Koto from the expressway. Follow the signs for Koto City and navigate to Tomioka, where Edomae Tempura Fukuan is located. The restaurant is situated in the Sugita Building on the 2nd floor at 1 Chome−22−26. Parking may be available nearby, but be sure to check any parking fees.

    Start at Hitachi Station and take the Joban Line train towards Ueno Station. The journey will take about 1 hour and cost around 1,500 yen. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, transfer to the Hibiya Line and take the subway to Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station. From there, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take a taxi to Edomae Tempura Fukuan. If walking, exit Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station and head north.
