If you're driving from central Hitachi, take Route 6 (Kantō Expressway) towards Tokyo. After approximately 70 km, merge onto the Shuto Expressway. Follow signs for Koto City and take the exit for Kiyosumi. The gardens are located at 3 Chome-3-9 Kiyosumi, Koto City, which should be your final destination. Parking is available nearby, but please check for any parking fees.

For public transportation, start at Hitachi Station. Take the JR Joban Line to Ueno Station, which takes about 1 hour. From Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and travel to Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station. The gardens are a 10-minute walk from the station. Exit the station and head south on Kiyosumi Street until you reach the gardens at 3 Chome-3-9 Kiyosumi.
