Getting There

  • Public Transportation

    From Hitachi, take the Joban Line (常磐線) train from Hitachi Station (常陸多賀) towards Ueno or Tokyo. The fare is approximately 1,500 yen and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Ueno Station, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line (山手線) and head towards Ikebukuro. Alight at Akihabara Station (秋葉原駅). Upon exiting the station, take the Electric Town exit (電気街口).

    After exiting Akihabara Station via the Electric Town exit, walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will see various shops and arcades. Look for the B&V building (神田B&Vビル) on your right. Maid Cafe MAID MADE is located on the 10th floor of this building. Take the elevator up to the 10th floor to reach the cafe.

    If you are driving from Hitachi, take the Route 6 (国道6号) south towards Tokyo. After approximately 90 minutes, follow signs for the Shuto Expressway (首都高速) and head towards Ueno/Akihabara. Once you reach Akihabara, look for parking options nearby as street parking may be limited. The nearest parking facility is at the Akihabara UDX parking area. After parking, it is about a 10-minute walk to Maid Cafe MAID MADE by heading towards the Electric Town exit of Akihabara Station.
