Yurakucho Asahi Hall: A Cultural Gem in the Heart of Tokyo

Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start from any location in Hitachi and head toward the Joban Expressway (E6). Follow signs for the expressway and take the route towards Tokyo. Once you approach Tokyo, take the exit for Shinjuku and continue on the Shuto Expressway (C1). Follow the signs for Chiyoda and exit at the Yurakucho exit. After exiting, navigate toward Yurakucho Center Building located at 2 Chome−5−1. There is parking available near the building, but be aware that parking fees may apply, typically around 300-500 yen per hour.

• Train

  To reach Yūrakuchō Asahi Hall by public transportation, start by taking the JR Joban Line from Hitachi Station to Ueno Station. The journey takes about 50 minutes. At Ueno Station, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line and head towards Tokyo Station. Get off at Yurakucho Station (approximately 10 minutes from Ueno). Upon exiting Yurakucho Station, follow the signs to the Yurakucho Center Building. Yūrakuchō Asahi Hall is located on the 11th floor. The total cost for this journey will be around 1,500 yen.

• Bus

  If you prefer to travel by bus, you can take a highway bus from Hitachi to Tokyo Station. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes and costs around 2,000 yen. Once you arrive at Tokyo Station, transfer to the JR Yamanote Line to Yurakucho Station. From there, follow the signs to the Yurakucho Center Building. Yūrakuchō Asahi Hall is on the 11th floor.
