From Tottori Station, take the Sakyu Line bus towards the Tottori Sand Dunes. Alight at Sakyu Center Tenbo Dai or Sakyu Kita-guchi bus stops, which are a short walk from the Visitor Center. The bus ride takes approximately 20 minutes and costs ¥380. Alternatively, the Kirin Jishi Loop Bus operates on weekends and holidays, also stopping near the dunes. A single ride on the Kirin Jishi Loop Bus costs ¥300, or a day pass is available for ¥600.

Taxis are readily available from Tottori Station. The ride to the Tottori Sand Dunes Visitor Center takes about 20 minutes and costs approximately ¥2200 - ¥3000. Accessible taxis are also available.

The Tottori Sand Dunes Visitor Center is approximately a 20-minute drive from the Tottori Interchange on the Tottori Expressway. Use the Tottori Sand Dunes Parking Lot in front of the visitor center. Parking costs ¥500 per 24 hours for cars, ¥500 for minibuses, ¥2,000 for large buses, and ¥200 for motorcycles.
