Car
If you're driving from central Izumi, head south on Route 3 towards Kagoshima. After approximately 5 kilometers, take the right exit towards Sho. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers until you see the signs for the Izumi Crane Observation Centre. The centre is located at 2478-4 Sho, Izumi, Kagoshima 899-0435. Note that there is an entrance fee of 1,000 yen per vehicle.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, start from the Izumi Station. Take a bus heading towards Sho (look for routes 1 or 2). The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Sho' bus stop. From there, walk approximately 1 kilometer to the Izumi Crane Observation Centre, which is located at 2478-4 Sho, Izumi, Kagoshima 899-0435. Be aware that bus schedules may vary, so check the latest timetable at the station.
