Car
If you're driving from central Izumo, head north on Route 9 towards Matsue. After approximately 30 minutes, take the exit toward Matsue/Izumo Airport. Continue on Route 431 for around 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Route 180. Turn right onto Route 180 and follow the signs for Matsue. After about 5 minutes, turn left onto Tonomachi Street. Matsue Shrine will be on your left at 1 Tonomachi, Matsue, Shimane 690-0887. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for potential fees.

From Izumo City, head to Izumo-Shi Station and board the JR Sanin Line train towards Matsue. The journey takes about 30 minutes.
