Getting There

Car
If you are driving, start from central Kai and head south on Route 20. After approximately 30 minutes, merge onto the Chuo Expressway (E20) towards Tokyo. Continue for about 20 kilometers, then take the exit for the Kanetsu Expressway (E17) at the Nishitokyo interchange. Follow the signs for Nishitokyo and exit at the Higashifushimi exit. Once you exit, turn left onto Route 45, then take a right onto 1 Chome-5-38 Higashifushimi, where the Higashi-Fushimi Inari Shrine is located. There is a parking lot available near the shrine.

Public Transportation
To reach the Higashi-Fushimi Inari Shrine using public transportation, start from Kai Station. Take the JR Chuo Line train towards Tokyo and get off at Mitaka Station (approximately 20 minutes). From Mitaka, transfer to the JR Musashino Line and travel to Nishi-Tokyo Station (about 10 minutes). At Nishi-Tokyo Station, exit and walk to the bus stop. Board the bus heading towards Higashifushimi, which takes around 10 minutes. Get off at the Higashifushimi stop, then walk for about 5 minutes to the shrine located at 1 Chome-5-38 Higashifushimi.
