Getting There

    If you are driving from the center of Kai, head south on Route 20 (Kōshū Highway). Follow the signs for Kōfu and continue for approximately 15 km. Merge onto the Chūō Expressway (中央自動車道) and take the exit towards Kōfu (甲府). From there, follow the signs for Route 52 until you reach the junction for Route 140. Take Route 140 towards Nishizawa and follow the signs for Kishimojin Temple. There is parking available near the temple, but it may require a small fee of around 500 yen.

    To reach Kishimojin Temple using public transportation, start at the Kai City Station (甲府市駅). Take the Fujikyu Railway (富士急行線) towards Otsuki (大月) and get off at Kōfu Station (甲府駅). From Kōfu Station, transfer to the bus service that goes to the Kishimojin Temple (鬼子母神). The bus ride takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately 500 yen. The temple is a short walk from the bus stop.
