Getting There

Car
If you are driving from Kai, head east on Route 20 towards Kofu. Continue on Route 20 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the interchange for the Chuo Expressway. Take the Chuo Expressway towards Tokyo. After about 30 kilometers, exit at Omiya and follow the signs for Saitama City. Continue on Route 17, then take the exit towards Torocho. The Omiya Bonsai Art Museum is located at 〒331-0804 Saitama, Kita Ward, Torocho, 2 Chome−２４−3. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that fees may apply.

Public Transportation
From Kai Station, take the JR Chuo Line train to Takao Station. At Takao Station, transfer to the JR Yokohama Line and travel to Hachioji Station. From Hachioji Station, switch to the JR Saikyo Line towards Omiya Station. Once you arrive at Omiya Station, exit the station and take the East Exit. Look for the bus terminal and take the bus heading towards Torocho. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the Torocho stop, and the Omiya Bonsai Art Museum will be a short walk from there. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as bus frequencies may vary.
