Car
If you're driving to Heijokyu Izanai-kan, start on the Kinki Expressway (also known as the Hanshin Expressway). Take the exit towards Nara from the expressway. Follow the signs for Nara City Center. Once you arrive in Nara, look for Route 369 (Nara Bypass) and take the exit towards 'Nijoojiminami'. Continue driving until you reach the address: 3 Chome-5-番1号 Nijoojiminami, Nara, 630-8012. There is parking available near the Guidance Center.

To reach Heijokyu Izanai-kan by public transportation, take the Kintetsu Nara Line from Osaka or Kyoto to Kintetsu Nara Station. From Kintetsu Nara Station, exit and walk towards the bus terminal. Take the Nara City Community Bus (Kotsu Shisetsu) and board the bus heading to 'Heijo Palace Site'. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Heijo Palace Site' stop, and from there it’s a short 5-minute walk to the Heijokyu Izanai-kan located at 3 Chome-5-番1号 Nijoojiminami, Nara, 630-8012. The bus fare is approximately 210 yen.
