Once you arrive at Kintetsu Sakurai Station, exit the station and head towards the Sakurai City Bus terminal located nearby. Board the Sakurai City Bus heading towards Sakicho. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. You should get off at the 'Minakami Pond' bus stop. From the bus stop, it is a short 5-minute walk to the pond itself.

If you prefer to walk, you can start from Nara Park, which is a central location in Nara. Head east towards the Naramachi area and then follow the signs directing you towards Sakicho. This route is approximately 5 kilometers and will take around 1 hour to walk, providing you with a scenic view of Nara's landscape.

For an enjoyable ride, consider renting a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Nara Park. After renting, head towards the Naramachi area and take the designated bike paths directing you towards Sakicho. The distance is about 5 kilometers and will take roughly 20-30 minutes.
