If you are driving to Shimotori Shopping Arcade, start from the central part of Koshi. Head west on Route 57 towards Kumamoto City. Continue on Route 57 until you reach the intersection with Route 3. Take the exit towards Route 3 and follow it into Kumamoto City. After approximately 15 minutes, keep an eye out for signs directing you to Chuo Ward. Once you reach Chuo Ward, follow the signs to Shimotori Shopping Arcade located at 1 Chome-3-10 Shimotori. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared to pay a fee which typically ranges from 300 to 500 yen per hour.

To reach Shimotori Shopping Arcade by bus, locate the nearest bus stop in Koshi. Board a bus heading towards Kumamoto Station. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kumamoto Station, transfer to a local bus that stops at Shimotori. The local bus ride is about 10 minutes. Be sure to have around 500 yen ready for the fare. Get off at the Shimotori stop, and the shopping arcade will be a short walk away.

For those preferring train travel, head to the nearest train station in Koshi and take a train towards Kumamoto Station. The journey usually takes about 25 minutes. Upon arriving at Kumamoto Station, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take a local bus heading to the Shimotori area. If you choose the bus, the fare will be around 200 yen. This will bring you directly to the shopping arcade.
