If you are traveling by car, head towards Kyoto city center from your location in the countryside. Use the expressway (Meishin Expressway) if you are coming from the north and exit at Kyoto-minami Interchange. Follow signs for Route 1 towards the city center. Once you reach the intersection of Karasuma and Shijo, turn left onto Karasuma Street. Continue straight until you reach Higashishiokojicho, where Nidec Kyoto Tower is located at 721-1 Higashishiokojicho, Shimogyo Ward. There is parking available nearby, but expect to pay around 500-1000 JPY for parking fees depending on the duration.

Public Transportation - Train
For those using public transportation, locate the nearest train station in the countryside. If you are near the JR line, take the train to Kyoto Station. From Kyoto Station, transfer to the Karasuma Line of the subway and get off at Gojo Station. Exit the station and walk north on Karasuma Street for about 10 minutes. Nidec Kyoto Tower will be on your left at 721-1 Higashishiokojicho, Shimogyo Ward. The train fare from Kyoto Station is approximately 210 JPY.

Alternatively, you can use the bus system. Check for a local bus that heads towards Kyoto Station or Karasuma. Buses typically run frequently, but be sure to check the schedule for your specific route. Once you arrive at Kyoto Station, you can either walk or take the subway (Karasuma Line) to Gojo Station as described above. Bus fare may vary but is generally around 230 JPY for a one-way trip.
