Bus
If you're starting from Kyoto Station, go to the bus terminal located just outside the main station. Take bus number 204 or 205, which goes towards Kitano Tenmangu. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the 'Murasakino' bus stop. From there, walk about 5 minutes towards the southeast on Murasakino Minamifunaokacho Street. Funaoka Onsen will be on your left at 82-1 Murasakino Minamifunaokacho.
Subway
From Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line towards Kokusai Kaikan. Transfer at Kitaoji Station to the Kyoto City Bus. Take bus number 204 or 205 towards Kitano Tenmangu. Get off at the 'Murasakino' bus stop. Walk approximately 5 minutes to the southeast on Murasakino Minamifunaokacho Street, and you will find Funaoka Onsen on your left.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Kyoto. Simply tell the driver 'Funaoka Onsen' or provide the address: 82-1 Murasakino Minamifunaokacho, Kita Ward, Kyoto. The fare will vary depending on your starting point, but it should take around 15-20 minutes from central Kyoto.
Walking
If you are staying in the nearby area, you can walk to Funaoka Onsen. Look for Murasakino Minamifunaokacho Street and head towards the address 82-1 Murasakino Minamifunaokacho. Funaoka Onsen will be easily recognizable as a public bath facility.
