    From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus number 206 towards 'Higashiyama Sanjo'. Ride for about 20 minutes until you reach the 'Higashiyama Yasui' bus stop. Once you get off, walk towards the east on Yasui Street for about 10 minutes. You will arrive at Hōkan-ji, which is located at 388 Shimizu Hiyakuzaka, Higashiyama Ward.
