Train
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line towards Nara. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Get off at Nara Station. Once you arrive at Nara Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Sanjo-dori).

From Nara Station, walk straight along Sanjo-dori for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Higashimuki Shopping Street. Turn left onto Higashimuki and continue walking until you reach the end of the street.

At the end of Higashimuki Shopping Street, turn right onto Inyocho. Continue walking for about 5 minutes, and you will find the Naramachi Karakuri Toy Museum at 7 Inyocho on your left.

Bus
Alternatively, from Nara Station, you can take bus number 2 or 3 from the bus terminal outside the station. Get off at the Naramachi stop. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop. Head down the street until you reach Inyocho, and the museum will be on your right.
