Public Transport
If you're starting from Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Subway Line towards Kokusaikaikan and get off at Karasuma Oike Station. Change to the Tozai Line and ride towards Uzumasa Tenjingawa. Get off at Sanjō Keihan Station. From there, exit the station and head east on Sanjō-dōri Street until you reach the intersection with Higashiōji-dōri. Turn left and walk north for about 10 minutes. Sanjūsangendō Temple will be on your right at 657 Sanjusangendomawari.

If you're near Gion, start at the Gion Shijo Station. Walk along Hanamikoji Street towards Shijo Avenue. Turn onto Shijo Avenue and head east for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Higashiōji-dōri. Turn right and walk south for about 5 minutes. Sanjūsangendō Temple will be on your left at 657 Sanjusangendomawari.

From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus number 100 or 206. Get off at the Sanjūsangendō-mae bus stop. After you get off, walk a short distance north, and you will see Sanjūsangendō Temple at 657 Sanjusangendomawari.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops around Kyoto. From downtown Kyoto, head east on Shijo Avenue until you reach the intersection with Higashiōji-dōri. Turn left and cycle north for about 10 minutes. The temple will be located on your right at 657 Sanjusangendomawari.
