Getting There

    If you're starting from Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line (local train) from Platform 3. The train ride to Tōji Station takes about 5 minutes.     From Kyoto Station, head to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Take bus number 206 or 208 towards 'Tōji Temple' (Tōji) and get off at the 'Tōji Temple' stop. The temple is just a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop; follow the signs leading to the entrance.
