Getting There

  • Bus

    From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus #204 or #205. Get off at the "Kurama Onsen" bus stop, which takes about 50 minutes. After getting off, walk towards the Kurama area and follow the signs leading to Yuki Shrine. The shrine is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

  • Train and Walk

    From Kyoto Station, take the Eizan Electric Railway from Demachiyanagi Station (the nearest station to Kyoto Station). Board the Eizan Train bound for Kurama and get off at Kurama Station. From Kurama Station, head towards the main road and follow the signs for Yuki Shrine. The shrine is about a 20-minute walk uphill from the station.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Kyoto. Just tell the driver to take you to Yuki Shrine (雪神社, Yuki Jinja) located at 1073 Kuramahonmachi, Sakyo Ward. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
